Sergei and Anna BAKHRUSHIN, children of Vladimir Alexandrovich and Elizaveta Sergeevna Bakhrushin (b. Perlova). Sergei Bakhrushin (1882-1950), a student of a leading Russian historian Vasily Klyuchevsky, was professor of history at Moscow University since 1927 and member of the commission “Historical Moscow” (Staraya Moskva). He authored many works on the history of Moscow and feudal Russia. Anna Bakhrushin (1879-1958) was a philanthropist and wife of Konstantin Nikolaevich Solodovnikov, member of Moscow Museum for Applied Knowledge (The Polytechnic Museum), one of the oldest science museums in the world. After the revolution Anna with her husband moved to France.
