Travelled as opera singer around the world, including Paris, London, and St. Petersburg, Russia. In 1894—1898, Cotogni was teaching at St. Petersburg Conservatory. His students include Giacomo Lauri-Volpi, , Mattia Battistini, and , Beniamino Gigli. Sergei Diaghilev took singing lessons from Cotogni as well. Cotogni died in Rome. COTOGNI, A.
