Taube, St. Petersburg, 1890s 14 х 21.8 cm Voytsekh Ivanovich GLAVACH (1849 - 1911) (Vojtěch Hlaváč) was a Russian Czech conductor and composer, who studied in Prague and came to St. Petersburg, where he played the organ at the Mariinsky Theater. Later, he was a conductor at the concerts of St. Petersburg Artists Association, summer concerts at Ozerki (surburb of St. Petersburg), and Pavlovsk.
