Nikolai Bobrykin, architect and assistant of A. O. Gunst. Anatoly Ottovich GUNST (1859 – 1919) was a Russian architect and public figure. In 1886, he opened his private art school called the Gunst College of Fine Arts. In 1901, he founded Moscow Art and Photography Society; in 1913, the Moscow Drama Salon, and in 1916, The League for Theater Arts. In 1917, he became an actor at the Moscow’s Malyi Theater and founded the Drama Studio of A. O. Gunst, which later became part of the Vakhtangov’s Studio. C4856 GUNST, A. O. (Гунст А. О.)
