Misha (Mikhail Ksenofontovich) YAZYKOV was a close friend and classmate of theologian and literary critic Sergey Nikolaevich Durylin. On September 5, 1906, he and his friend, both members of the “Butkevich club,” a revolutionary organization, were killed by government police in a provincial town. Mikhail was a son of Ksenofont Mikhailovich Yazykov, founder and first physician of the Izmailovskaya Zemskaya Hospital (today F. I. Inozemtsev City Clinical Hospital), Moscow, Russia.
