This exibition features photos by Mikhail Komarov, a theater actor and a native of Moscow, Russia. In 1900, Komarov graduated from the Music and Drama School and since then played in provincial theaters all over Russia and the Caucasus. In the Russian theater world he was also recognized as chairman of the All-

Russia Theater Union and an active participant in the Russian Theater Society. Komarov took these pictures of Moscow and his classmates from the Music and Drama School at graduation, before he embarked on his career of a traveling actor and theater activist. For an unknown reason, he never returned to Moscow. These pictures are the actor's farewell to his native city, his friends, and the happy times at the Music and Drama School.
