Service in the Caucasus
Konstantin Gilchevsky (March 5, 1857– ?) was a Russian general, whose career developed primarily in the Caucasus, the southern part of the Russian Empire. Gilchevsky travelled throughout the region, photographing Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Iran, as well as the Russian army officers and their families stationed in the Caucasus.
